To begin with I would like to thank all the companies that have shown faith in us and also the alumni who have gone far to reach their goals yet kept grounded and always kept in touch and made sure KIT reaches the heights of incredible academic excellence. When it comes to Placement, we at KIT strive to tap the top companies for Pool campus. We have associated with many well renowned companies and KIT has students all across the world chasing their goals and excelling in life. Training is an on-going process throughout the year. May it be technical or non-technical training, we offer the best. The Training and Placement Cell is a well-structured team. It carries out various placement activities in a well-planned manner. The CPC studies and lists various corporate companies in the region, connects with the company, understands their recruitment needs and invites the company for placements to ZES. Further, it makes arrangements for the Placement drive. Students are trained by faculty members of the Life Skills Lab for facing an Interview i.e. an Aptitude test, Group discussion round and a Personal interview round. These trainings are carried out in sync with the Academic calendar. Thus the Life Skills Lab transforms the students into professionals ready for the corporate world. Through the drive, the students are placed according to the recruitment needs of the company.
The Central Placement Cell is to empower students to achieve their career aspirations by providing them with the necessary support, guidance, and resources. The CPC is committed to promoting a culture of lifelong learning and to helping students acquire the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a rapidly changing job market.
The Industry Institute Interaction (III) team plays a crucial role in fostering collaboration and synergy between educational institutions and industries. The primary objective of the III team is to bridge the gap between academia and the corporate world, creating mutually beneficial partnerships.
Placement was a key point when I was shortlisting colleges for my Engineering and I am proud to say that KIT has not only lived up to, but exceeded my expectations. Throughout my degree, I received continuous assistance from the Training and Placement Cell. I also got the opportunity to attend numerous workshops which polished my skill set. I am really thankful to all those who have helped me on my journey to be a better professional.
Life Skills Lab truly lives up to its name. It was truly a “Lab” where we got to learn so many new things about how to handle workplace stress, creative thinking, and also how to give your best in an interview. The activity based learning really helped us imbibe some rather challenging topics in a good way. I have found these skills to be really helpful at my current job and it is something that will stay with me for a lifetime
I graduated with a degree in information technology and am glad to say I did so from KIT. With the artificial intelligence center and the well-equipped laboratories, I was not only able to seamlessly complete my academic work, but also pursue my passion for AI without having to go anywhere else. I thank KIT for giving me this chance to pursue my passion and help make it a career.
